Words of Wisdom: Don’t Chase Health, Find Your Joy
Lately, it seems like every TV commercial is warning us of the dangers of getting sick. “Don’t do this, or you’ll get that…” or “If you feel this, it’s likely you have that.” This kind of thinking is a dangerous trap to fall into.
The body sends us messages throughout our lives to help us see what is happening on a deeper level. No matter where you were in the past or what situation you have now, if you can understand energy and its messages, and connect with how it makes you feel, you can shift your thinking.
Don’t chase health. Find your joy.
Follow these tips:
- Be happy and do things you enjoy.
- Surround yourself with happy things and happy moments to create better flow in your daily life.
- See yourself.
- What do you love about yourself? Write those things down. Look in the mirror and read the list out loud to yourself. Remind yourself of the strong, wonderful person you are. If there’s something you’re not happy with, take steps to turn it around.
- See your responsibilities.
- Look at your to do list. Which things are you dreading? How can you shift your perspective to make them more enjoyable? If not, can you delegate them to someone else?
- Smile!
- A smile sends a beautiful message and vibration throughout the body.
- You are what you think.
- Your thinking is the perspective that decides what path you are on. Choose your thoughts carefully.
- Choose your moments.
- We all want to live happy, healthy lives. But a whole life is a collection of years, months, days, hours, minutes—and each starts with a single moment. Choose your moments. They add up to a lifetime.
- Be kind.
- Be kind to yourself and to others. Make yourself the priority no matter what. Everyone else will benefit from you if you are the priority.
Energy is not just fleeting. It’s who you are—your signature. Use your Qi wisely. That becomes your birthright.
