What Do You Give of Yourself?

How much of yourself do you give out for free? Would you walk outside in the middle of a snowstorm barefoot and in shorts and a t-shirt? No, of course not. You intuitively know that doing so would tax the body’s resources.

Not getting enough sleep, staying on the computer for far too long, drinking iced drinks, eating gobs of junk food, getting lost in the worry-and-wait cycle, and feeding yourself a constant barrage of negative thoughts all have the same effect.

Is what you’re giving of yourself worth it in the end?

Take care of yourself—body, mind, and Spirit.

  • Feed yourself healthy thoughts and warming, healing foods.
  • Get to sleep before midnight.
  • Give your eyes a rest from your computer and phone.
  • And most importantly, do something just for you—something that fuels you and makes you happy.
