SPROUT SOUP

Soy sprouts are often considered to have a cooling nature and support the health of the kidneys and bladder, helping to promote hydration.They also support digestion and may help alleviate symptoms associated with excess heat in the body, such as inflammation or skin conditions. Sesame oil has warming properties and helps with joint pain or stiffness.

 1 Bag of sprouts
 2 Quarts of boiling water
 2 Teaspoons of salt
 1 Teaspoon of mushroom seasoning
 1 Teaspoon of corn or sweet potato starch
 3 Scallions diced
 Drizzle of sesame oil

Wash the bean sprouts well and let them soak in warm water for 5 minutes then rinse once again.

Add the sprouts to the pot of boiling water.
Add the salt and mushroom seasoning.
Allow to boil for 5 mintues.

Place the corn starch in a small cup and add 2 teaspoons of water. Mix well then add to the soup.
Stir then add the scallions and sesame oil.
