RADISH IN A WOK

 

Cooked daikon radish is great to support the digestive system and healthy Lung function. To purchase a daikon radish, look for the ones that don't look smooth and have cracks in them.

Yields1 Serving
 Two cups of sliced radish
 1/4 teaspoon of salt
 1/4 teaspoon of mushroom seasoning
 1/4 teaspoon of sugar
 Splash of wine
 1 scallion cut into 1/2 inch slices
 Shredded carrots
 Dash of sesame oil

Slice the radish in 1/2 the cut into 1/8 inch slices.

Add oil to the wok.

Add the radish and toss.
Add mushroom seasoning, sugar, carrots and 1/2 of the scallions.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Toss gently. Then add the wine and a dash of sesame oil.
Add the remaining scallions and toss.
Serve immediately.
