DAIKON PEANUT SOUP

This recipe will help the digestive system flow more freely.
Make a large pot and add fish or meat to leftover soup to make another delicious meal.

Yields1 Serving
 1 quart of boiling water
 1 daikon radish, Cut into chunks
 2 carrots, cut into chunks
 3 stalks of celery, diced
 1 leek diced
 1 teaspoon of salt
 1 teaspoon of mushroom seasoning
 ½ cup of peanuts
 Splash of cooking wine

Cut the radish and carrots. Set aside.
cut the celery and leeks.

In a wok, add the oil and salt.
Add the celery and leeks.
Add mushroom seasoning and wine.

Add 1/2 the boiling water to the wok and allow the flavors to mix.
After 2 minutes add all the mixture to a large pot.

Add the remaining water and peanuts.
Cover and cook for 60 minutes to allow the peanuts to soften.

Note: Add dried shrimp, ham or chicken if you like!
