GOLDEN BAKED PEARS

This combination is excellent for warming the body, supporting the digestive system and adding moisture to the Lung. 

Yields1 Serving
 23 Bartlett pears, halved and cored.
 1 Tablespoon of maple syrup
 2 Tablespoon of honey
 2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder
 2 teaspoons of grated ginger
 Handful of shredded wheat

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.

Place the pears to a baking dish.

Top with maple syrup, honey, cinnamon and ginger.

Sprinkle with your favorite cereal. (we used a shredded wheat)

Add 1/4 cup of water to the baking dish.  Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Eat alone or on top of barley cereal.
