FRIED RICE

Rice strengthens Qi and Blood, benefiting the Stomach and Spleen. A staple in many cultures for millennia. Enjoy making fried rice and customize with your favorite veggies or ingredients.

Yields1 Serving
 2 1/4 tablespoons of oil
 1 egg, beaten
 1/2 teaspoon of salt
 1/2 red pepper, diced
 1/4 cup of chopped green olives
 1/4 cup of sliced ham, diced (optinal)
 1 pint of cooked rice
 1/2 teaspoon of mushroom seasoning
 handful of chopped lettuce

Heat the wok and add 1/4 tablespoon of oil.
Meantime, beat one egg well. When the oil is hot add the egg into the wok and toss until cooked.
Remove and set egg aside.
Rinse off the wok.

Add 2 tablespoons of oil, salt, red peppers, olives and ham.
Toss well.

Add a container of leftover cooked rice to the wok and mix well.
Continue to toss then add mushroom seasoning.

Continue to mix so the rice does not stick to the wok.
Add the cooked egg and a handful of lettuce.

For a sweet twist, add slices of fresh pineapple when you add the egg.
