FLOUNDER SOUP
Flounder's delicate flavor lends itself well to blending with other flavors without overpowering them. In TCM flounder supports Kidney function. Incorporating flounder into the diet is a way to promote well-being.

To a large pot add 2 quarts of water and allow to boil.
Add noodles/pasta if desired.
In a wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and add the onions and tomatoes. Saute for 2 minutes then add to the boiling water.
Prepare the marinade by combining 1 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, and mushroom seasoning, along with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Mix thoroughly, then add the wine.
Add the marinate to the fish. Mix well then add 3 tablespoons of sweet potato starch, mix again then add the oil.
Gradually drop the fish into the boiling water.
After 3 minutes, taste the soup and adjust for salt.
Add seaweed if desired.
