FIVE ELEMENT BEAN SOUP
All the five elements are in this soup. Can you name them? Enjoy this sweet soup for breakfast or dinner.

1 cup lotus seeds
1 can aduki beans, no salt and drained
1/4 cup goji berries
2 teaspoons honey
5 cups water
1 pear, chopped small
Cinnamon to taste

Boil the lotus seeds in the water until soft, about 40 minutes.

Add the red beans, goji berries and honey and bring back to a boil.

Add the pear and remove from heat.

Serve with cinnamon.
