These are great to prepare for a party ahead of time and can be used to make a beautiful and tasty variation of deviled eggs.

 1 Dozen eggs
 6-7 black tea bags
 Soy sauce
 3-4 star anise
 5 handfuls of salt
 Peel of 1 tangerine peel

Hard boil eggs, then drain.

Crack egg shells by tapping or gently rolling on counter top.

Boil a large pot of water. Add the cracked eggs, tea bags, star anise, and 5 handfuls of salt.

Add the tangerine peel and a dash of soy sauce, by swirling the bottle around the pot one time

Boil for about 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and let sit for about 6 hours or overnight.

Peel gently and serve!
