CHRYSANTHEMUM PEPPERMINT TEA WITH HONEY

Chrysanthemum mint tea is a popular beverage in Traditional Chinese Medicine known for its cooling and soothing properties. They help to clear heat from the body, making them beneficial during hot weather or when experiencing symptoms of internal heat, such as fever or inflammation.

 6 tbsp Fresh small chrysanthemum flowers (or 3 chrysanthemum tea bags)
 2 tbsp Chopped fresh peppermint (or 2 peppermint teabags)
 4 cups Boiling water
 Honey to taste

Rinse teapot with boiling water and drain well.

In warmed teapot, combine chrysanthemum and peppermint.

Add the 4 cups boiling water and let stand 5 to 10 minutes to steep.

To serve, strain herbal tea into cups.
