BARLEY CEREAL

Chinese barley has been studied for its anti cancer properties. Combine barley with Chinese yams and the overall impact will support digestive health, boost energy, and reduce inflammation. It is also used to treat a variety menopausal symptoms.

Yields1 Serving
 1 cup of rinsed Chinese barley
 5 cups of boiling water
 brown sugar, or honey to taste
 Optional: Add slices of yams

Rinse the barley well, then add to a pot of boiling water.

Cook for another 25 minutes on low or until the barley is tender.

Continue to watch the water levels. If you prefer a soupy mix, then add additional boiling water at any time.

Top with brown sugar, or honey and grated ginger.
