BROCCOLI AND PINE NUTS

This delicious dish is easy to make and will support your Liver and Kidney function. Leftovers can be added to added to soups or served over rice.

Yields1 Serving
 1 bunch of broccoli washed and cut into 2 inch stems
 1/2 cup of boiling water
 Dash of salt
 2 teaspoons of olive oil
 1 clove of garlic
 Handful of pinenuts

To boiling water, add salt and broccoli. Allow to cook until color turns slightly.

Strain.

Heat oil and garlic in a frying pan. After 30 seconds, add the pine nuts.

Stir this mixture for another 30 seconds.

Add broccoli stems and cook until desired tenderness.

Option: Substitute broccoli rabe or escarole for the broccoli
