BAKED STRAWBERRY FRENCH TOAST
Support your Heart with this deliciously decadent breakfast recipe. For a twist, add a mixture of fresh raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries to the batter before baking.

Preheat the oven to 375F. Butter the bottom and sides of a large casserole dish. Reserve remaining butter.
Beat the eggs and milk together in a flat bowl. Dip the bread into the batter. Poke the bread with a fork all over to allow the batter to absorb. Flip and poke with holes on the second side. Place into the prepared casserole dish. Repeat with the remaining bread, making sure the bread is touching. Add the remaining butter in small pieces to the top of the bread.
Place the chopped strawberries in the remaining egg batter. Mix and spread over the prepared bread. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Then uncover and continue to bake for about 30 minutes, or until the top is crispy and the french toast is cooked.
Serve with fresh strawberries.
